Change the mind, fix the concept of the brain and watch as the body obeys.
If Christ said you can do all things through Him who strengthens you, its because you can.
Being obedient to God is not hard.
The
hardest thing to do is to sit everyday of your life and put up with the
same result, the same effects and the same sad regrets.
So what if the flesh has to crucify a little?
No one can do it on their own, but when God sees the effort He steps in.
A
Christian that refuses to pray is a massive destruction. You won't have
a positive day, because you never claimed it when you woke up. You
won't be strong enough to face your daily giants, because you never ask
God for His strength. And most importantly, you won't be able to obey
the greatest Commandment which is to love, because you never told God
you loved Him firstly, much less to tell someone else.
Set the mind and keep it set on righteousness, and you will experience a day of joy, peace and God given happiness.

There
is no war in our environment, the war is in our minds. There is a
spiritual battlefield going on up there, and no one can control it but
us.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
And be not conformed to this
world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may
prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The enemy uses distractions as his main tool. He distracts us the our major weakness.
He
study us from the day we came out of our mother's womb up until now.
And he knows us even more than how we know ourselves at times.
The
good thing is, he cannot read our minds, neither our hearts. God, the
creator and giver of all things has that only access to our beings.
And
if God sees the traps thats set out for us, and He decides to warn us,
why should we not listen. Many times we say we don't know if God is
talking to us. The truth is we do know when He is talking, we just never
like to listen. Because it tends to not be what we want to hear.
God is so faithful, He warns us even when we shut Him out, or have a made up mind.
He
is a Spirit that cannot lie, cannot covet. And He definitely DO NOT
tempt us, but He allows it when we disobey and chose to satisfy our own
desires.
James 1:13-15
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted
with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
We cannot keep bumping our heads in the same spot, and not expecting to get the same results.
Change our action with a renewing of the mind!
God
loves us, more than how we love ourselves. I can imagine how much it
hurts Him to watch as we lead our vessels (bodies) into destruction
because of disobedient.
And the worst thing is He has given
us liberty, the choice to choose, to make our own stupid decisions
everyday. Only because He think its fair for us to use the minds He gave
us.
In the beginning, am sure He had the power to make us
serve Him TOTALLY. But instead, He chose to let us make our own
decisions.
Oh I wish He had installed that "Must serve God" chip in me.
The world would have been allot better today. At least all of mankind would be certain about their salvation.
Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)
I
call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set
before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
that both thou and thy seed may live.
Choose to be happy, choose to trust God..
Choose to have patience. Patience isn't waiting, it's how we operate while we wait.
Choose to love God above all earthly idols, and put Him first. And idols aren't just statues.
He's jealous!
Choose
to be the righteousness in Christ and break from the bondage that He
has once released you from, and enjoy your Christian walk in Him.
